Outdoor Orchids Growing Tips

      Are orchids difficult to grow? This question is always asked by many people who are fatuous in orchids. Orchids are the coolest flowering plants on earth because they have several color, shape and size, as well as they are flowering plant which exhibits a unique reproductive strategy. Moreover, orchids are so interesting to grow and they have at least twenty different species. People might grow orchids at both indoor and outdoor, but growing them outside the residents more popular and difficult than another one. Even though it is harder to plant outdoor, growing orchids outside is not difficult to do by yourself, and there are the example of four easy steps to follow. 

1.To grow orchids outdoor, you have to know that orchids need a special care for well-grown. The environment or the weather outside is an important factor which can affect any conditions to each orchid. Before putting your orchids outside, firstly, you have to check for the weather around growing area to make sure frost has passed, for some orchids can tolerate for only a short period in cold weather, but a lot of them cannot take it.​ 

2. Orchids should not take too much light and get burnt. It is best to ease your orchids into their summer home outside;however, it is better to put them in a spot where is only slightly brighter area. In this step you should be careful while you are growing them and do not make it burnt. 

​3.To check out for insects or pests around growing area due to a lot of these unexpected creatures while growing orchids. These insects and pests are very dangerous for plants because they can attack your plants and lead them to be damaged. By the way, you can solve the insects and pests problem by regularly spraying your outdoor orchids. For instance, you might mix horticulture oil or neem oil along with several drop of liquid dish washing detergent in the water every three to four weeks or so to kill small pests. Also, be sure that your orchids are raised off the ground so that critters cannot easily crawl in to the pots. 

4.​ You should find a position to plant orchids and make a shelter for preventing burn. To avoid sunburn, your orchids have to be put under trees or shade clothes, but no suntan lotion. Almost of orchids or others plants need light to grow; thus, you should not put your orchids under complete shade. There are some places where you can grow your orchids outdoors such as hanging on or placing orchids under trees or shade clothes, mount on trees, raised bed, and garden plants. In order that, you need to focus on growing area where do you think it is the best place for your orchids.​

These four steps might lead orchids to have a well-grown. Growing charming, valuable, and hard growing plant like orchids is not difficult anymore if follow all steps. Every step is significant for growing outdoor orchids as same as water, humidity, light, and place which are major factors which can much affect orchids for well- grown. Furthermore, planting orchid needs a concentration from feeders in growing processes.
