3 Ways to Stop Self-Consciousness

Have you ever asked yourself, am I looking too fat in this dress? Perhaps they do not like me? These questions seem to be insignificant, yet they can lead to the severely worst outcome into our life; self-consciousness. Self-consciousness is the uncomfortably nervous feeling about what other people think about you. Therefore, how do we prevent this unhappiness feeling into our life? It only takes three steps.

1. Identifying yourself

Perhaps your appearance, your mental or physical problems, is the cause of your anxiety. It appears that changing your thoughts is the best solution to this problem. Remember these worries are noises, and then you eliminate these irritating sounds out of your head by writing them down. Do not forget to write down every single worried thought. This technique helps you discover the source of your worry.
2. Trying to stop thinking about them

Keeping yourself busy is not a bad choice. Try to find your passion or activities you are interested in— physical activity perhaps. Exercise will help you control your weight from gaining or loosing. Furthermore, it reduces the risk of health problems and improves your emotion by decreasing the depression and anxious since it straight effects on your brain chemicals, serotonin which is produced by cardio exercise and dopamine.
3.Staying positive

If you ask triumphant persons to divulge the secret of their accomplishment, there is no doubt that being an optimistic person is an answer. Optimism guides us through positive side and stay away from negativity. It also helps us deal with unpredictable changes or disappointments, managing stress, including the self-consciousness.
