If you said about the summer festival, surely that Songkran was the one of topics. This festival in Thailand can attract tourists to join on 13th - 15th of April in every years. 


Why Songkran festival is popular? 

Because of the famous activity of this festival can not find it anywhere but here, people in country joyfully splash the water on each other.

Songkran is an important custom for Thai families, people who work in Bangkok return home to celebrate the festival with their family. Also, this festival is important for Thai region as well. Songkran known as Thai Traditional New Year's Day, people were offering alms to monks, bathing rite for Buddha images in the morning and splashing water on each other after all activities.
